It incorporates various changes to the Final FRCA examination which have been required by training and examination regulators. The Author: R. Venn. Welcome to the second edition of The Clinical Anaesthesia Viva Book.

We are extremely grateful for all the positive feedback that we received for the first edition, both from candidates for the FRCA and from examiners and consultant colleagues. We actually set about writing a ‘Book 2’ several months ago and two things became apparent.

The Clinical Anaesthesia Viva Book is an excellent tool for anyone preparing for the oral boards. The equivalent of the American oral board exam in the United Kingdom is the viva exam. Although the format is not exactly the same, it is very similar, with both exams consisting of short and long format questions.

Clinical Anesthesia by Barash is easy to read and gives you an in-depth discussion of the many. book remains a skeleton on which to build, not only from within other texts, but also with clinical experience.

I remain hopeful that if, after reading this book, you feel motivated to learn by desire rather than need I will be a little bit closer to achieving my aims. Carl Gwinnutt GCAPR 7/2/04 PM Page vii. Buy Clinical Anaesthesia (Lecture Notes) 5th by Matthew Gwinnutt, Carl L.
